Your contribution to success

  • Design and conduct generative discovery and evaluative research across the entire product lifecycle, from exploratory interviews to usability testing
  • Develop and implement a holistic research strategy in an agile environment that meaningfully combines qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Establish continuous discovery within the product teams and enable product and design teams to engage directly with customers
  • Play a key role in shaping product strategy through evidence-based insights from user research, analytics, and experiments
  • Support A/B tests and experiments in collaboration with data analysts, interpret the results, and put them into product context
  • Distill complex data from various sources into clear, actionable insights for different stakeholders and communicate them effectively
  • Identify and prioritize research needs across product areas and align them with the most important product and business questions
  • Coach team members in research best practices, for example in interviews, usability testing, and choosing the right methods
  • Build and maintain a living repository of research insights using tools like Dovetail, so that knowledge stays discoverable and reusable across the organization

Your success factors

  • A completed degree in human-computer interaction, psychology, design research, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
  • 5+ years of experience in product or UX research, preferably with digital products
  • Deep expertise in qualitative methods (interviews, usability testing, generative discovery) as well as a solid understanding of quantitative research
  • Experience with continuous discovery and a Jobs-to-be-Done-oriented way of working is a plus
  • A sound understanding of A/B testing and experimental design, enabling you to work as an equal partner with data analysts and to interpret results
  • Proficiency with research and collaboration tools (e.g. Dovetail, Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience integrating research into agile product development processes
  • A proven track record of influencing product strategy and decisions through research
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Very good communication skills in German (at least C1) and good English
