Your tasks

  • Solution Architecture: You analyze business requirements from our departments such as marketing and sales and translate them into technical specifications for the data architecture.
  • Pipeline Engineering: You develop highly scalable ETL pipelines in Databricks, leveraging the advantages of AI and coding agents.
  • Real-time Connectivity: You will work at the interface between Kafka and Databricks to implement a high-performance data exchange platform.
  • Data Quality First: You will use automated data validation to ensure that our data is always accurate and trustworthy.
  • Platform Mastery: You will assist with the administration of the Databricks platform and ensure that the environment runs optimally.

Your qualifications

  • You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, data science, software engineering, or comparable IT-specific vocational training.
  • You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering.
  • You have very good knowledge of Python and SQL and experience with Apache Spark, ideally in Databricks or a comparable cloud data platform.
  • You have in-depth experience in data modeling and designing complex data architectures.
  • Your working style is characterized by technical precision, a high degree of personal responsibility, and an analytical approach to complex problems.
  • You enjoy working directly with specialist departments and supporting them with innovative technical solutions.
  • You have very good written and spoken English (B1 level) and German (C1 level) skills.
